    Guest Ambassador Assistance Program

On behalf of all of our team members, we sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love and support we’ve received over the past several days in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. Thankfully, everyone is safe, secure and accounted for. We have created a GoFundMe with 100% of the proceeds to benefit employees in need of financial assistance.

We are overwhelmed by the amazing stories of you and your families at our resorts. Our team is proud to have been a part of your special occasions, family vacations, and “just-because” visits. For 10+ years I visited my sisters on Sanibel (she always rented a house in February and March). We would walk on the beach every morning and sometimes walk through Beachview Cottages back to the road. Every time I would say, I am going to stay here one day. Finally my husband and I retired and decided this was the year. We stayed in cottage 18 for two weeks in 2022 and had it booked for February of 2023. We also talked friends into renting the cottage next door. It was the greatest trip we have taken. So relaxing and the people who worked and visited there were the best. I am praying the cottages can be rebuilt to that amazing charm and we can get our weeks back to visit every year!!

My family and I have been coming to Sanibel and Captiva since I have been in middle school. There is no other place like it in the world. Our last trip was one of our most memorable as we came with my mom, my Fiancé and myself the weekend before Ian. On Friday, we made our way onto the island and picked our wedding venue for next fall. We spent a magical weekend enjoying the views, the water, the sunsets and the local people and planning ahead for our special day in paradise. Funny story is, we ended up choosing the beach front cottage, #6, because my mother said you never know what could happen tomorrow, let’s stay on the beach, as it was one of her dreams to stay in one of the beachfront cottages at Castaways. Boy, am I glad we did for the memories we have will last forever and luckily I took plenty of pictures of our paradise. I don’t know what we can do but we would love to help in any way we can. Unfortunately, we got the call this weekend saying that our venue was cancelling all weddings for 2023. So here’s to starting over and rebuilding! Sanibel and Captiva will always have a special place in our heart and if I can manage to hold my fiancé off, maybe we will be able to get married one day in paradise when it is all back together. Thank you for all the memories!

We got married at the West Wind Inn in 2010. We have been back several times with our children and still love it very much. We’ll be back as soon as Sanibel is back open for visitors.

Been vacationing there in summertime since in 1992- my oldest son was 4, he is now 34 and youngest 22. We enjoyed watching sunrise on the bay and seeing the manatees and sunset on the golf! All the stress of universe left us once we saw the Tween Waters sign. Our family favorites was breakfast brunch and crab races on Thursdays !
Blessings to everyone (specially the host at old Captiva house who has been the greater than 20 years)!!!!

After learning about the closing of a Naples resort we had been visiting for 13 years for our trips to the West Coast, we were on the hunt for a new location ~ a new home. A tradition of Old Florida – not the easiest to come across. We were told about Tween years ago and. finally made a reservation with big expectations. That was Sept of 2021. We returned for Fathers Day Weekend 2022 which coincides with Captivaville and we enjoyed the live music. However, my favorite memory was this last visit . We were there, 9/23-9/25 (3 days before Ian!). It was an extremely stressful week for me and my husband and I were celebrating our 20th year anniversary. As we arrived around 4:30pm, we checked in and my husband went to park while I followed with the room keys.
We stayed in the Coconut building for the first time and as I was walking to the building tears rolled down my face. Tears of joy because I felt in my soul we had found our new home! We’ve been looking for a new west coast home and Tween filled the gap and that meant the world to me! Plus – I have to add, on this trip we enjoyed the bikes for the first time and Jasmine made my daughter the BEST hot chocolate ever!!!

My husband Ian and I have been to Tween Waters in Captiva twice. It is our favorite place to relax, sit by the pool, enjoy the drinks, walk the beach, take bike rides and enjoy a sunset. We love it and can’t wait for you to reopen! We were planning on coming again in the Spring. See you soon!

We love vacationing to Westwind!! We have lots of memories there and just Sanibel itself !! We Celebrated birthdays and anniversaries there! We even come over to the WW from Ft Myers just to enjoy lunch and have a drink at the bar or to take a stroll on the beach!! Best place ever! We plan to be back as soon as we are allowed to get back on the Island!!

We have spent many years visiting and our latest was my granddaughters first time to the beach. We always had a great time and Gael e recommended Castaways to my friends who also visit. I wish you the best and can’t wait to visit again.
