The most recent example of this remarkable success and continued evolution of Captiva’s only full-service resort is the Thursday, July 6 launch of Crow’s Nest Steakhouse. Standing tall atop the new Shipyard Restaurant (named one of the “top 12 dining destinations in Southwest Florida” by the Fort Myers News-Press) — Crow’s Nest Steakhouse is the only second-level beachfront dining destination on the islands — and combines an extraordinary menu of aged steaks and Gulf-fresh seafoods, the largest collection of whiskeys from across the world (including in-house Shipyard whiskey), plus an inspiring, almost 180-degree vista of the Gulf of Mexico and its wondrous sunsets.
Crow’s Nest Steakhouse brings an intimate, almost speakeasy vibe to destination dining. The restaurant is open Tuesday – Saturday, 5 pm – 10 pm, by reservation only. The restaurant seats approximately 60 guests at its luxury tables and stylish bar. Patrons are seated upon availability, with no “standing room only” due to a desire for comfort and the many table side preparations guests can expect.
