After learning about the closing of a Naples resort we had been visiting for 13 years for our trips to the West Coast, we were on the hunt for a new location ~ a new home. A tradition of Old Florida – not the easiest to come across. We were told about Tween years ago and. finally made a reservation with big expectations. That was Sept of 2021. We returned for Fathers Day Weekend 2022 which coincides with Captivaville and we enjoyed the live music. However, my favorite memory was this last visit . We were there, 9/23-9/25 (3 days before Ian!). It was an extremely stressful week for me and my husband and I were celebrating our 20th year anniversary. As we arrived around 4:30pm, we checked in and my husband went to park while I followed with the room keys.
We stayed in the Coconut building for the first time and as I was walking to the building tears rolled down my face. Tears of joy because I felt in my soul we had found our new home! We’ve been looking for a new west coast home and Tween filled the gap and that meant the world to me! Plus – I have to add, on this trip we enjoyed the bikes for the first time and Jasmine made my daughter the BEST hot chocolate ever!!!
