The historic and award-winning Captiva House Gulf Front Seafood Restaurant has announced the introduction of an exciting new dining adventure for residents of and visitors to Sanibel and Captiva Islands — Sushi at Captiva House.
Captiva House is a Lee County historic landmark and the flagship restaurant of ‘Tween Waters Inn Island Resort & Spa, itself a nationally-designated historic landmark. The new sushi menu is an extension of the all-new Captiva House menu, which features a significant emphasis on Southwest Florida seafood, flavors served amid a casual, comfortable setting — complete with front-row views of spectacular Gulf of Mexico sunsets. The new sushi menu will offer an adventurous variety — more than 30 choices in all — of sushi rolls, sashimi, specialty rolls and select sakes. Sushi at Captiva House is open Thursday-Saturday in September, and Tuesday-Saturday beginning November.
“We’re extremely excited at the opportunity to bring fresh, highest quality sushi to Captiva Island,” says Laurent Bosc, Director of Food & Beverage for Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts, parent company of ‘Tween Waters Inn Island Resort & Spa. “As an avid sushi lover myself, it’ll be our pleasure to delight our guests with both traditional and unique, creative sushi presentations and a choice selection of sakes. We looking forward to wowing our guests and our local residents alike!”
Captiva House is open daily for dinner from 5.30 pm – 9.30 pm, and is located at 15951 Captiva Drive at ‘Tween Waters Inn Island Resort & Spa. Reservations may be made at 239.472.5161 X421
